Here at Wood N Crate Rentals, we absolutely love working with our Arizona couples to find the perfect head table layout and design. What is a head table?
A head table is a traditional place for the bride and groom to sit during their reception. Who sits at this table is completely up to you! Sometimes the head table includes the wedding party even immediate family. Sometimes it’s just the couple! When it’s just the two of you, this is also referred to as a sweetheart table.
We love sweetheart tables because they allow the couple to have some alone time and some privacy as they eat. Typically, on their wedding day, the couple is surrounded by guests – so this gives them a few minutes to reconnect! When designing your seating layout, the sweetheart table can be off to the side or at the “head” of the reception space. This means you can see all your guests at once.

For the more boho bride, we love these Bamboo Chairs. These chairs add some fun flair to your sweetheart table.
